Snapchat is winning the Video Ads Game!
We recently worked on the video ad campaigns on the Snapchat platform and OMG it's awesome.
What is Snapchat? Well, in layman's terms it's a relatively new video app that allows users to share 6-second videos with friends and family. The app has exploded in popularity and is currently the fastest growing app among teens and young adults. If your business is in the market of attracting that audience then this is the MUST USE platform for video ads.

How can this be? Are they "giving away" ad inventory? No. The truth is that the Snapchat ad platform is still in its infancy and there's PLENTY of inventory to go-around. This means lower CPMs and better overall results. But are the tides changing?
Snapchat Splits the "Social" from the "Media"
Snapchat CEO Evan Spiegel recently announced that the company is separating the "social" and "media" aspects of its business. "One of the complaints we've heard about social media is that photos and videos from your friends are mixed in with content from publishers and creators and influencers," Spiegel says in a company video. "But your friends aren't content. They're relationships. That's why today we're separating the 'social' from the 'media.'"
So what does this mean for advertisers? To us it means that your brand will be seen in a better "light" under this redesign. Your brand will no longer be able to "interrupt" the social side of the app and instead will be highlighted alongside other major content creators like Lucasfilm, CNN, Beyonce, and other popular content.
